Scan Thing does not offer user accounts and does not collect any personally identifiable data. When contacting us by email, we will store your email address until we’ve replied, after which it will be deleted.
Ads and Analytics
The Scan Thing app does not collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app, but may do so in future releases of the application.
Scan Thing's business model is not ad-supported, nor does it rely on collecting data of any sort. To that end, Scan Thing does not collect any data other than that already mentioned.
We use the information we receive via email (that is, the aforementioned email address(es) and bug reports, feature requests, and support requests) to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.
We may disclose your information, such as it is at the time, in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information as it exists as the time may be among the transferred assets.
The Scan Thing app does not gather or store sensitive information. Your web browser may, however, cache websites listed in this document were you to visit them.
