Scan Thing does not offer user accounts and does not collect any personally identifiable data. When contacting us by email, we will store your email address until we’ve replied, after which it will be deleted. 

Ads and Analytics

The Scan Thing app does not collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app, but may do so in future releases of the application.

Scan Thing's business model is not ad-supported, nor does it rely on collecting data of any sort. To that end, Scan Thing does not collect any data other than that already mentioned.

Information Usage

We use the information we receive via email (that is, the aforementioned email address(es) and bug reports, feature requests, and support requests) to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.

The Scan Thing app does not gather or store sensitive information. Your web browser may, however, cache websites listed in this document were you to visit them.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
